“Views” Statistic

    Can you help me understand where the “Views” stat comes from on the form submissions page? Mine states that I have 13,000+ views, but this seems like it can’t be right since the page the form is embedded on only has about 2,500 pageviews in the time frame since I launched the form.

    Thanks in advance for any ideas that anyone has.

    Please note that every time while viewing the page the pageviews are increasing on the “Views” statistics.

    Thank you for the response. I’m still confused. How has the form been viewed 13,000 times when the page itself has only been viewed 2,500 times according to Google Analytics?

    The form can be used on different pages. Those views are counted in statistics.
    Also, the views during the preview increase the pageview on the statistics too.

    Thank you – the form is only on the one page and I am the only one who worked on developing it, so there weren’t that many previews.

    I think I figured out a piece of the problem: I forgot I had gotten about 1,500 spam submissions from the same IP and blocked it, so that may have contributed to inflated views. It still doesn’t add up to 13,000, though. I will just be disregarding the “views” statistic.
