    Hello everyone –

    I just released a new version of the plugin. It took a while but I think I’ve addressed a lot of security issues (including the CVE) and general code style type issues.

    There’s also a new feature – text slides can now have styled text! That one in particular was something I’ve wanted for a while. There are some limitations and if you use this you might need to change the CSS if you’re using custom CSS for your slides.

    If you have a dev/beta version of your site, I would appreciate it if you could test there before moving to production. I did a lot of testing and it’s stable for me but every site is unique and unforeseen issues could pop up. A lot of files were changed for this release but I am confident that it’s in good shape.

    I intend to focus on the Gutenberg block for the next release but that will involve me switching my workflow over to using Gutenberg (of which I am not a fan).

    Any suggestions for new features are always welcome.

    I also want to add that I had to make some changes to the way the Javascripts are loaded and it seems snappier now. I’d appreciate your thoughts on that also.
