vanished colour pairings
-
When this Hemingway was first activated, in the WordPress Dashboard Appearance Customiser ‘fonts and colours’, there was a set of three pairings of colours to choose from. One was light with lime green button backgrounds/link text and dark body text and another was maybe orange and russet. The last, my choice, came with a dark grey background, pale grey text, white hover text, pale teal button backgrounds/link text. If you selected the teal/grey swatch pair you got a dark theme with pale text.
All those are gone now. There are two swatches remaining, appearing as separate entities, controlling site back ground and button colours. No matter what you choose on those, no helpful accompanying changes occur in the text colours. The colour scheme pairings are broken.
The site needs pale text if it’s to have dark grey behind it. A lighter colour looks bad, because of the unchangeable (without editing the theme, which I’d rather not do) light teal link text.
Im guessing some plugin has broken it.
What I’d really like to do now is delete the instance of the theme in the Dashboard and re-download and install it and activate it.
Firstly, would doing that actually refresh the theme or would all the bad settings just reinfect the fresh installation of the theme?.
Secondly, a search on how didn’t yield any results.Any idea how to fix this?
