Please make sure that the subscriber has post edit privileges. You can do that with a WP Roles Management plugin.
Also, the Users Ultra Pro Getting Started Guide will help you.

Hi, thanks for your answer. I have made sure that Author has the right to both edit and delete posts, but it is not working.
There is just that empty white box when trying to edit post, and when trying to delete, the warning box comes up, but the post does not get deleted when clicking OK.
Hope you can help me, I really would like to use UU.
