I would like to know if there is a way for users with developer roles to use the plugin. i see that only users with admin permissions can use the plugin.

Hi there!

WP Migrate Support Team here, Thanks for reaching out with your query we would be happy to assist!

Currently the Tools > WP Migrate screen is only accessible to admins or customer user roles with the “export” capability while on multisite networks, users must have the “manage_network_options” capability.

You can try and use a third party plugin to add those permissions to the “developer” role.
