uploading database backup from ithemes security

    I’ve been in the process of switching from one webhost to another, and in the meantime, my client has made changes to her site. The database used is dated after the changes were made but doesn’t show the changes, so my guess is that database comes from the new host rather than the old host. In other words, the site was transferred to the new host, changes were made on the old host, before the nameservers were redirected.

    Is there a way for me to get back into the old site to get a new database to upload that to the new server?

    Have you contacted and asked your “old host”?

    Ok, yes, they got me in. But now I need help on the database – keep getting errors on the import, “duplicate entry ‘1’ for key ‘Primary’ Have no idea what to do next. I googled the error, got some suggestions from stackoverflow.com but none have helped.

    Despite the error messages, the site seems to be updated with the correct database. marking this one as resolved.
