uploading backup zip to backup folder

    I have a specific problem I haven’t seen anyone reporting. When I upload a backup.zip to the backup folder, the moment it is uploaded it disappears, and can’t be found by the plugin. Uploading to any other folder the file stays but can’t be found.
    WP 6.9, Upload via filezilla

    Thanks Phil. Ok that’s strange. The backup file you’re uploading, that was created by our plugin?

    yes, but I was able to use the upload function of the plugin which I though wouldn’t work because of the upload restriction of my web hoster.

    so no immediate need to resolve.
