• I have recently made a change to my website URL, and have found that my database records are now showing as 404s. I know I can use the ‘proxy post all records’ to regenerate them, but this has a big drawback. The last time I did this, the refresh over-wrote all the editing that I done directly into the proxy post pages, and I lost an awful lot of work. Is there a way around this please?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

You don’t need to rebuild the proxy posts to fix the URLs. Re-saving the Permalinks (using the Permalinks item in the WP admin menu Settings section) should fix the problem.

Just so you know, the plugin is not designed to support direct editing of the Proxy Posts, those posts mirror the content of the Participants Database records, and so it is expecting you to make your changes and updates to the Participants Database record, which will then be reflected in the proxy post. This means that if you manually edit a proxy post and then edit the record it is mirroring, you will lose the changes you made to the proxy post.
