Update brought a not agreed on plugin

    They just installed imagify with the most recent update.
    Unacceptable.
    If this keeps happening we will be gone fast.

    Hello @lucafriedrich,

    Thank you for reaching out, and we’re very sorry for the confusion and concern this caused.

    Please note that Rank Math does not automatically install Imagify or any other plugin during updates. The recent update in our plugin only displays a recommendation notice in the Media Library and the plugin is installed only if the user clicks the install/activate button.

    If Imagify appeared without anyone confirming installation, there may be another factor involved (hosting auto-installer, user role permissions, bulk actions, etc.), and we’d be happy to investigate further. Please share any additional details or screenshots so we can look into it.

    With that said, if you don’t wish to use Imagify, you can safely deactivate and delete it from your WordPress Dashboard → Plugins → Installed Plugins.
