If i have installed a plugin for widgets i cant add a widget or for photo slides i cant add a slide when i go to click on these buttons its unresponsive i viewed my javascript console to see if there were errors and there are but I dont know how to get rid of them! its everything from trying to upload a photo to just trying to add new page!

Have you tried using a different browser and seeing if these problems occur or clearing cache/cookies on Safari?

    Yes I have

This is the error message i get when i view the javascript console and then try to click to add a widget or image, or search for a theme

parseDialogContentsiteorigin-panels-23.min.js:2:22951TypeError: _.extend is not a function. (In ‘_.extend({cid:this.cid},t)’, ‘_.extend’ is undefined)

Disable all plugins, try adding a widget through dashboard and see if it works, if it does.

Then begin re-enabling each plugin one-by-one and seeing which one is causing JS errors.

Possible fix, if not your WP install might not have been done properly.

I can add one by the dashboard by inputting the whole html script but can i not get round it installing a page builder ? by plugin?

Have you tried disabling those plugins yet and then seeing if anything changes?

After disabling all plugin even if u see this issue then Best solution is contact your hosting provider and report this issue ,
