i have essential blocks + fluent forms installed on two different sites ~ all works like a charm on the addon domain but on the main hosted domain, i’m unable to save the changes edited to css [ie changing input/text area color] ~ the changes are visible in the editor preview, but when i publish + view the site, the text field reverts to a transparent background [back in the editor, the colors remain set + visible] ~

i also tried adding 2 dual~buttons to the test page + neither are appearing properly [only the connector is appearing, squished] ~

attempts to fix ~ disable other plugins, activate twenty twenty one theme, toggle essential blocks + fluent forms plugins ~

though i don’t receive an error message for this issue, my site crashes w/ a critical error every time i attempt to activate qubely [another blocks plugin] + in case the two issues might be related, the following is the error message ~

PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Exception: Prevriew CSS can not be saved due to permission!!! in /home/krem26854664/public_html/wp-content/plugins/qubely/core/QUBELY.php:165

    thanks for your time ✌🏽

[SOLVED] sooo, upon trying to upload a screenshot to the test page to show compare the live site w/ the editor preview, i got an error message asking if the parent directory is writable by the server ~ after looking into, i went to settings > media + noticed that the ‘store uploads in this folder’ was set to the destination of my site before i reconfigured my hosting ~ this allowed me to upload images again + it seems to have resolved the css saving issue as well 👌🏽
