unable to change template.php

Version 0.9.9.3.4
plugin unique ID is: 1

Hi. I’ve copied template.php into other directory to make changes. I just want to eliminate the border, so I scroll to line 147 to change
border: 1px solid ………….

Every time I’ve change it, the plugin stop working.
When I reactive the default template, it works againg.

Any help?
No javascript errors, no other plugins running.
