• I originally installed “WP-User-Avatar”, and I am not saying that ProfilePress doesn’t work.

    I dont know if that plugin was acquired by ProfilePress or morphed in to it, but there are many default features that applied themselves when the plugin changed. This lead me to thinking my site was compromised. NOT a fun day.

    I suspect I missed some obvious information, but my point is that I missed it, it was apparently not obvious enough. And now I have all these features I did not originally want and I have to figure out how to turn off, or remove the plugin entirely.
