tried import but no languages are imported

on a staging server I am stuck here:

Status :finished
Current Step :252
Total Item to process :12573

I have 8 languages, None has been imported. I followed the instructions but:

1. my default language is Italian. I had to switch to Italian in “wp-admin/admin.php?page=falang-language” in order to make the Falang Importer to work. Before doing this, the import proces was stuck in a loop. Chek settings -> Settings ok, go back and run import -> Check settings -> Settings ok, go back and run import

2. After changing default language to italian, “Run import” was enabled. I clicked it. The steps counter went from 0 to 252 (2 steps per second approximately).
At 252 it stops and shows:

Status :finished
Current Step :252
Total Item to process :12573

But if I go to FALANG -> Languages, I see only Italian. Same in posts/products other cpt, I only see Italian flag. No other languages in select language switcher (backend)

Any hints?
