Translate some words
-
Hey!
Your plugin is great, i translated almost everything to Polish language in polish .po file, many words were marked in orange and i worked it out.
There are some words in English that are not in Poedit, for example ‘restart chat’ or ‘user’ ended the chat. I translated “ended the chat” but can’t translate “user”.

I found string ‘restart chat’ in js/wplc_node.js and translated – it works fine but i guess after update i’ll lose it.
Except default ‘User’ name on chat, there are also strings that can’t translate like ‘Please enter Your name’, ‘Please enter Your email’, ‘Please enter Your message’ when chat is offline and someone wants leave a message. I found it also in js/wplc_u_pro.js but this time it doesn’t work after replace.

Hello @xszejdi,
thanks for your efforts. We’ll improve the translation adding the missing string in next release.@wordpress3cx nice!
waiting patiently.
Hello @wordpress3cx
I noticed a new update, how’s it going?
Hello @xszejdi, 8.1.5 was already under testing so we cannot include this fix.
Version 8.1.6 will include improved translation, for the sentences you have reported and also others. Thanks for your patience.Hello @xszejdi, we just released version 8.1.7 with a fix for the issue you reported. Thanks for your feedback!
Hi @wordpress3cx,
That’s great, thanks for that!
Unfortunately, after trying to disable, remove, reinstall the plugin and clear the cache, I still see that the phrase ‘Restart Chat’ is missing. Two more phrases ‘Please enter your email’ and ‘Please enter your name’ are still not working. One of them works and is translated ‘enter your message’ but it was like that before the update. I can also see when the user ends the chat it is still untranslated ‘User’ has ended the chat.Best.
Hello @xszejdi, can you please provide some screenshots of untranslated parts? You can easily load screenshots to imgur then post urls here.
Hi @wordpress3cx,

We hope a soon answer!
Hello @redcomtodoenconectividad and @xszejdi, “Restart Chat”, “Please enter your name” and “Please enter your email address” are already added to translation files in version 8.1.7, you can see these strings in https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/wp-live-chat-support/ when you choose your language.
If you are using some custom .po files, be sure to update them to get the new strings to translate.
@wordpress3cx great! Thank You.
If i have custom .po file with a lot of traslated strings, how can i not lose them after replacing .po file to new one?Best.
It works! I had to download translation from: https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/wp-live-chat-support/ because after update there wasn’t new .po file and i just could see the old one, then merged two .po files to one, thanks for helping me solve the problem after one month.
Best, Mateusz.
