Tracking for Form Submissions?

    We need to be able to track leads coming from Google Ads and other paid channels and I can’t find anything in the settings that allows for this when the SimplyRETS form is submitted.

    Typically, WP form plugins provide an option for redirecting form submitters to a custom URL (e.g. a “Thank You” page) into which the tracking script/s can be embedded. Since no such option currently exists, do you have any suggestion for tracking SimplyRETS form submissions?

    Hey @pracko thanks for the ticket!

    We actually just added a feature in the latest release (v3.1.0) that allows you to use a custom contact form. On the Settings->SimplyRETS page, you’ll see a new checkbox for “Enable custom lead capture form”. In this setting, you can use a shortcode from another plugin (eg, a Contact Form 7 shortcode), or raw PHP/HTML code.

    I recommend using Contact Form 7 (or a similar form plugin) as it will give you a shortcode and has ways to grab the listing address and ID out of the URL to send with your form or analytics. Hope this helps get what you need!
