This could be because your server is overloaded, at least at the moment.
Dear CacheCrawler,
I appreciate your response! Thanks for that. Maybe a dumb question, but do you know why my server is overloaded when clicking the Toolbox? I have everything optimized with Litespeed & Avada theme optimized. The websites that I build always score 100 in pagespeed tests. Only thing that is different this time is the amount of images that are on the server (2000 images). But I do not understand why that is a reason for my server to get overloaded.
If you might have solutions or tips for me on how this problem can be fixed. I would appreciate it very much. If you want a bit of money in return that is also okay. I just need to get this fixed asap :p
Thanks in advance!
Kind regards,
Robin Buren
This has nothing to do directly with the toolbox. If your server was already on the verge of overloading, then your server was overflowed by the toolbox’s request. This would probably have happened to you with every other page in the backend. You should get a stronger server because it is foreseeable that your frontend will also be affected by the overload.
In principle, however, you should contact your hosting provider in the event of an overload. He can help you better in such matters.

by any chance, is it multi-site network? or it’s individual site ?
does 503 happens immediately after you click ? or it happens after certain time (like few minutes ) later ?
@qtwrk Thanks for your message. The website is an individual site.
The 503 happens after a certain time (few minutes later)
