TOC block in sidebar or hook

    Hi all,

    i just tried to add the TOC Block to the sidebar of the single archives, that gives: This block has encountered an error and can not be previewed. So i tried to add it as a hook (Astra Pro) that doesnt give an error but only the title (Table of contents) displays on the single post.

    Anyone has the same problem here? Its a new wp install locally with only astra and yoast installed.

    Hi @zetona ,

    What you’re seeing with the Stackable TOC block is expected. The block only scans headings that exist inside the page or post content in the block editor.

    If you need a TOC in a sidebar of the singles archives, we recommend to use something that scans the rendered page, like TOC block from Astra. Otherwise, Stackable TOC block works best inside the page or post content.
