Thank you for your review and your support post. I am sorry I have not seen your post until now. WordPress does not email me when there is a post, I should check more often.

Your requests are both very good ideas. I believe the latest versions of WordPress add rel=”noopener” when you add a link by clicking the “link” button so checking for this would definitely be a good idea. The sidebar/footer too, I can see that being useful, especially as links in the sidebar are often from plugins where the user may be unable to add a rel=”noopener” for themselves.

I’ll take a look and try to add this functionality soon.
