Advanced Editor Tools “How to..?”

Trying to gather the more commonly asked “How to…” questions here to make the answers easier to find 🙂
Pretty much all TinyMCE editor settings can be set or changed with the Advanced TinyMCE Configuration plugin. Changing a setting there typically affects all TinyMCE instances, the classic editor, classic block, and any instances added by plugins.
- How to add more fonts to the drop-down? How to add more font sizes?
These can be set directly in the TinyMCE editor options. Using Advanced TinyMCE Configuration will make changing these quite easy/straightforward 🙂
- I’d like to have one set of options for the classic editor and another set for … another instance of the editor or another user role.
I’ve been looking at/working on adding support for multiple settings, per instance and per user role. It will happen, as soon as I get some time to do it right 🙂
