We use your SupportCandy plugin on our website to manage our tickets. Since updating to the latest version, our users have frequent access issues. The message they receive is something like “something went wrong.” We’re awaiting clarification on this matter so we can definitively resolve this recurring issue. Thank you.

  • Hello,

Thank you for reaching out, and I hope you’re doing well.

The “something went wrong” message typically indicates a caching or conflict-related issue after an update. To help resolve this, please try the following steps:

    1. Check caching (most common cause):
If you are using any caching or speed-optimization plugin, please exclude all SupportCandy pages from caching. After clearing the cache, recheck the issue.

    2. Check for plugin or theme conflicts:
SupportCandy may conflict with another plugin or your theme. You can troubleshoot this by:

    • Temporarily deactivating all other plugins, then activating them one by one to identify the conflicting plugin.
    • If no plugin conflict is found, try switching to a default theme (on a staging site). If the issue disappears, the conflict is related to the theme.

Important: Please do not switch themes directly on the live site, as it can cause layout or settings issues. Using a staging environment is strongly recommended.

    3. If the problem persists:
Please open a ticket on our official support portal so we can take a closer look:
