This merchant doesn’t support Google Pay

    Hi, I try to configure Google Pay. I don’t have a merchant ID, so it should be in test mode. And when I click Pay by Google button, I have this pop up with cards and I don’t have cards, but this message – “This merchant doesn’t support Google Pay”. What is wrong? When last time I configured this in other shop all was good. And now I try on 2 different Google Accounts, and nothing. When I try to buy on another site where I have merchant ID and it was configured before, I see cards on the same account.

    What is wrong?

    It sounds like you don’t have the Stripe plugin set to test mode on the API Settings page. That message should never appear when test mode is enabled.

    I’d double check your API Settings page configuration and make sure test mode is enabled.

    Hi,

    Sorry I misunderstood the manual, I thought when Merchant ID is empty then Google Pay is in test mode, and the rest can be in live mode, but I must enable in API Settings for all test mode to have it working.
