Theme not updating

    The website is not updating to reflect the theme format. It changes some things, but it is till showing a legal theme, instead of updating to reflect the format and content of the Minimalist Writer theme.

    I.e. you want to change the theme? Then you have to activate the new theme. Have you done that? If so, do you use a caching plugin? Then you may also have to empty its cache to see the change.

    Since you have activated a maintenance plugin, it is unfortunately not possible to see which theme is currently active for you.

    Yes, I have installed and activated the new theme. I have also cleared the cache. No matter what theme I choose, it seems to just overlap one over the other, so I see part of one theme, and the rest is still the old theme.
