The Message:Error establishing a database connection

    Hello,
    I’m trying to install wordpress but the the message of the install.php is always the same: “Error establishing a database connection”

    But frob My Sql Workbench I am Able to get the connection with the same Database name, username and password

    P.S. The message is the same with:

    localhost
    127.0.0.1
    localhost:3306
    127.0.0.1:3306

    Is anyone able to help me?

    I am installing wordpress in local, on my macbook Air and I have already installed PHP, and Mysql both tested OK

    I hope you used user name and password of your database. If username is not there you can user ‘root’ and password blank.

    you can use host 127.0.0.1 or localhost. try anyone.
