    Hi.
    I have a question.

    1. Subscriber set the private message limit to 50.
    2. A new user has registered.
    3. The role of the new user has been set to subscriber.
    4. A new user filled out a private message.
    5. The message limit was shown as unlimited, not 50.
    6. A new user sent a private message.
    7. The message limit was shown to be 49.

When a new user signs up and writes a private message for the first time, it shows that it is unlimited. I think it should be shown at 50.

Can I ask you for confirmation?
And, I want to solve this problem. Is it possible?
    Thank you.

Hi there, think I’ve fixed it now, sorry about that, some very odd typo’s.

    Give it a try.

    Hi.
    I installed an update (1.6.5).
And again, a new user tried the first private message.
But the message limit was still shown as unlimited, not 50.
Is there a problem with me? Is it possible to check?

    Hi there,

I’ve just created a new user and then went to compose, it showed that the user was limited to 100 characters as expected. Can I just check which BP Theme you are using? I tested with BP Nouveau.

    I mean Messaging Quota Restrictions.
I’m not asking Character Length Restrictions.

Ah sorry, yes you are right, for new users their count was not set and this was causing the plugin to assume they had unlimited messages, should be fixed now.

    It works well.
    You solved my problem.
    Thank you.
