So, all the newer websites I have been creating get stuck in a WooCommerce wizard loop. You finish installing and setting up, and then when you click the WooCommerce home link, it shows up again! It’s so frustrating. I have read many topics on this, and nothing that has been provided has helped me at all.

But here is something interesting and I think this is what is creating the issue. I noticed that the url when I click woocommerce home link shows it ends with admin.php?page=wc-admin&path=%2Fsetup-wizard.

If I remove the &path=%2Fsetup-wizard from the end of the url then the home page is correct and does not go into a loop. The only problem is that when I leave and come back the issue is again at hand. So I am thinking that woocommerce plug has a bug and it needs to rid itself of the “&path=%2Fsetup-wizard” from the end of the url for the woocommerce home link.

Honestly I would rather see a link call “Wizard”, instead of trying to put it on the woocommer home link page. That way if you want to use the wizard you can and if you don’t you can still use the home link as intended. I think this be the best fix for the plugin.

Hope this reach someone who works on woocommerce plugins and they take this idea to heart. You save us all from going crazy running around trying to find a fix. and most of the fixes online don’t work for everyone.
