Well, it got a bit better with WordPress 5.9.1 but it’s still showing partly under the right side-bar. I’m using a TwentyTwelve child theme. Screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/k8xqnwn.png
Thanks,

I’m not alone so I guess that’s good LOL. No change with WordPress 5.9.2.
I’m very disappointed: this delay just shows that they don’t care about their users…

Same thing in WordPress 6.0.
Yes, this is one of the bugs on my TO-DO list for the next version. Hope to get it out soon.

Thanks for letting me know.
Eager for this solution: I even volunteer to test a beta version!
There is a workaround but also eager to see this plugin updated.
Work around is to change the settings in Advanced Editor Tools. TURN OFF the “Enable setting of selected text color ” and “Enable setting of selected text background color” and drag the Text Color functionality from the Unused buttons area into the Main toolbar.

What do you know.. that works. Now, in my case, in the drop-down it says “Highlight” instead of Text Color or something. But selecting it lets you choose Text Color or Background Color.
Thanks for pointing this out!
