Hi I have just taken over a site and I can see this plugin is installed, the product sync checkbox is not ticked.

I would like to troubleshoot some issues on this site.

I can see there is activity from this plugin every 5 minutes on NewRelic. How do I temporarily turn off the cron job from this plugin? (and turn it back on again)

    Thanks

  • Hi @wordpressrun

The cron job is part of the background process health check to make sure the system is syncing products correctly. Every 5 minutes it will check the queue to see if there are any in-progress sync attempts and make sure they are fully complete.

Since you have sync turned off, there isn’t any product on the queue so you should be good to go 🙂

In case you want to troubleshoot something in particular regarding cron jobs on the site I would suggest temporarily deactivating the plugin.

Temporarily deactivating the plugin will leave the products on Facebook as they are without any issues on the Facebook shop ?

    Hi there,

That’s correct. Deactivating the plugin shouldn’t affect your products on Facebook.

Feel free to get back to us in case you have any additional questions!
