I have a bunch of old galleries created with the masonry layout, and I’m thinking of moving them all to fusion grid to get that modern look. Is there a safe way to do this without losing existing thumbnail sizes, titles, and links?
Some of my galleries have custom captions and external links, and I don’t want to rebuild everything manually. If there’s a migration tool or a bulk action for layout switching, that would be a lifesaver.
Also, can I preview the new layout before applying it to all galleries?

Yes, you can safely switch your old Masonry galleries to Fusion Grid without losing your data. We actually built a Gallery Converter tool specifically because so many users requested an easy way to migrate between gallery types.

To use it, simply open any gallery and you’ll see a “Convert Gallery” button at the top. This tool will:

    – keep all your photos
    – preserve titles, captions, and custom text
    – keep external links
    – apply the new Fusion Grid layout and styles

Nothing is deleted, it just restructures the gallery for the new layout.

You can also preview the converted gallery before applying changes to the rest. This way, you can check spacing, thumbnails, captions, and overall appearance before converting your entire collection.

If you want, I can walk you through the best settings to match your existing style or improve the look after conversion.
