• Amazon has announced that the Product Advertising API 5.0 will be sunset and replaced by the new Amazon Creators API, with PA API 5.0 no longer available after January 30.

As this transition impacts both the Terms of Service and how affiliate product data can be accessed, I wanted to ask whether there are plans to update this plugin to support the new Creators API and ensure continued compliance with Amazon’s policies.

This plugin plays a key role on my website, so any information on whether an update is planned or already in development would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your ongoing work and for taking the time to respond.

    Best regards

The plugin has been updated to support the Amazon Creators API.
Please note that I currently cannot test live product display, as Amazon only returns product data to eligible affiliate accounts.
If any errors appear, please share the full log output shown by the plugin, as it’s required to properly diagnose the issue.

Thanks for the quick answer. The plugin update solved my problem. However, i ran into the next one on trying to connect to the PAAPI 5.0 (i will switch to the creator API in two weeks). I use exact the same credentials with another plugin for years – and they are working.

    Error:

ok, new fix in 1.8 version for region “DE”.
If possible please test it, and if problem persists, send me the new full debug log.

Testet it again with PAAPI for the region DE. Now it works. Thank you!

One more question: would it be possible to control the number of shown products directly via the shortcode? I.e. [affiamsh_amazon keyword=”Your Keyword” number=”3″]

This would help me a lot on my multiple affiliate pages. Thank you in advance.
