Hi, I’ve been testing this plugin along with your Paid Member Subscriptions plugin for a few weeks now, and I’m impressed with how they integrate and work together, except for the strength indicator, which seems to have some erratic behaviour.

For example, if the register page has only two components, let’s say a shortcode with a message for not-logged-in users followed by the Register block, it works fine all the time. However, if I add another shortcode, for example, a pms-logout inside a pms-restrict, the indicator stops working after a member logs in and out.

I looked for any tips on your documentation and here in the forum and I couldn’t find any restrictions; that’s why I’m asking if there is something else I should be checking. I’m assuming that, since it works fine until I add a third component, this issue is not related to JavaScript, theme, or even a conflict with another plugin.

Than you for your great work!

    Hi @hgomes,

Thank you so much for your kind words and for bringing this up to our attention.

Could you please edit the page and share a screenshot from there with the exact shortcode setup you have? I want to also check this locally.

Note: You can use a site like https://snipboard.io/ to share the screenshots.

    Hi,

    Here’s the screenshot:

In the middle, it’s the Register block.

Since we’re still testing, you can check it live at Sign Up – RMA Memberships

The page’s menu has Strength Indicator pages working for you as well.

    Thank you!

Unfortunately, I do not see any screenshot attached to your message. Please try to upload it via a 3rd pary site like: https://snipboard.io

Also, when accessing your Register page: https://rmatheist.ca/register/, I get a 403 Forbidden error: “Access to this resource on the server is denied!

    Sorry for that.

I just tested on my WP Instance with a similar setup to yours, and regardless of whether I add in the second restrict shortcode a Registration or Login form, then log in -> log out, the strength indicator works correctly.

We are based in Romania. If possible, please whitelist the country so that we can check your page.

I asked our webmaster to allow Romania, hopefully it’s working now.

    Thank you!

Could you please send us the PB settings? Please install the “Import and Export Settings Addon” from Profile Builder –> Add-ons. Then export your Profile Builder settings and send the file.

Please send the file to [email protected] where you also mention this support thread.

Just so the other users know, I received a reply on my email and they asked for a few tests, which will take some time to perform. I will post here again as soon as I have an update.

I thank the developer because they are giving me great support, even for the free version.

    Hi all,

I am closing this ticket but wanted to tell you what happened and the solution.

There was an extensive exchange of emails, with several tests. After I tested once again for conflicts with themes and plugins and not solving the issue, the developer accessed our configuration for the Paid Member Subscriptions and realized that we had to turn off the Password Strength setting because it conflicted with the setting on Profile Builder.

I just had to go to Paid Member Subscriptions -> Settings -> Misc -> Others -> and disable the Password Strength setting. This fixed the issue and now everything is working fine.

I wanted to thank the developer once again for the level of support I received, even been on a free version yet. Congratulations on the quality of the product as well.
