Sticky Posts do not obey Grid rules.

I have noticed when I made a post sticky recently the post appears in grids it is excluded from being shown in.

For the moment I have stopped making my post sticky, is this something which can be fixed in an upcoming version?

Repro info: Grid which specifies only two posts can be displayed in it. Make another third post sticky and it appears in the grid unexpectedly.
