Hi @betoarisi,
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are very sorry to hear about your experience with our plugin.
It is not possible for the plugin to install itself, but Burst Statistics can be automatically installed as part of the onboarding process for Complianz or Really Simple SSL. During this process, there is an option to include Burst Statistics, which might explain how it appeared in your plugins dashboard.
If there was any misunderstanding or if there is something specific we can help you with, please let us know.
Kind regards,
Hessel
OK so Really Simple SSL updated automaticaly itself and made me swallow some plugins whithout ask my permission, that’s it.
Hi @betoarisi,
If auto updates are active in your WordPress environment, Really Simple SSL could have been updated automatically, but it cannot update itself.
Really Simple SSL does not install plugins automatically. Burst Statistics can be installed by a user with the necessary permissions during the onboarding process, once they have completed the step where other plugins can be installed. You can choose to skip this step during onboarding or deselect any plugins you do not want to install. An action by a user is required for other plugins to be installed.
We are sorry to hear about your experience with our plugin. We hope that this explanation helps to clear up any confusion.
Kind regards,
Hessel
