Space below menu

I am testing upgrading from Version: 3.8.4 to Version: 4.1.2, but I am having a problem removing the space below the menu.
I was able to remove the space on 3.8.4 by using the following:
::before { margin-bottom: -37px; }
But this doesn’t work on the new version.
I have tried:
#primary { bottom: 24px; }
which works, but it breaks the drop down menus.Any ideas?

@charlesweir Hi Charles. I can’t see the space in your site. I’ve checked with firefox windows. You see the space in every page or in one specific?
