I like the plugin, but we really need to show a list sorted specifically as newest first. Can you please tell me if we can select to sort via date in the shortcode?
@bryanearl907 sorting feature is available in advanced version. It has already been developed and released. It can be provided in shortcode as well but still sorting will work in advanced version.

I have looked through all available documentation and screenshots and see nothing about this. I am NOT talking about the ability to show the “date created” column and then force the user to click that column to sort by.
I am specifically talking about the ability to show the list of documents ALREADY SORTED by date created when the page loads. Wouldn’t this require adding that info to the shortcode?
So, that does not appear to be working at all. Here is the code I am using and no matter what I use (ASC, or DESC), it doesn’t matter. The list is sorted by filename, not date.
You are misunderstanding it here, sorting feature is not available in basic version. Sorting will work in advanced version only. I am closing this ticket because it is not a bug report but a feature investigation thread.
@bryanearl907 I have released a new version in which premium shortcode will be visible for basic version users as well. Hopefully it will minimize the confusions.
