Sort Category Grid Boxes

    Hi, I am using a shortcode to show categories with files. In settings, I have Terms order by Name and Docs order by Title. In General, I have Masonry enabled.

    I would like to show the category boxes alphabetical. I tried [betterdocs_category_grid orderby=”name” order=”ASC”] and I saw your suggestion to someone and tried [betterdocs_category_grid terms_orderby=”betterdocs_order”] but neither of them is sorting my category boxes. Any ideas?

    Hi @sadmansakibnadvi

    I added it exactly as you suggested and unfortunately, no. that did not work. I changed it now to masonry=”true” just because my categories have such different # of items. This is the only layout that would work for us, but the order is not even close. I honestly don’t know the order it’s using doesn’t make sense.

    Sorry to hear you’re still experiencing this issue.

    I’ve tested it on my end, and it appears to be working correctly. You can check the demo here: https://d.pr/v/ZIZBMh. It looks like you’re using the WP Rocket caching plugin. Could you please try clearing your cache from the plugin and check again?
