Smush v3.12.4 breaks LearnDash functionality

Learndash version 3.12.3 and 3.12.4 breaks LearnDash functionality including:
– video auto start
– automatic course progression upon video completion
– video resume

These functions worked in previous versions of Smush. Was any new functionality added to the new version releases automatically enabled? If so, how can I disable the new functionality so the rest of my site goes back to functioning properly?

Hi @i431ad

Sorry to hear you are having this issue.

It should not have any difference between both versions that should affect videos as Smush handle images, not video formats, but per your description, this could be related to Lazy Load, could you please try disabling the Lazy Load and see if this makes any difference?

If not, please, click on the right button of the mouse > inspect to open the browser console, do you see any error?

Same happens with smush pro version 3.12.5. It breaks LearnDash automatic course progression upon video completion.

Also, you mentioned 3.12.5 version which is not available here so it suggests you are referring to the Pro version of the plugin which we are not allowed to support here. For any Pro related questions, issues and bug reports, please start ticket directly with as at wpmudev.com.
