Unfortunately I have the same problem
Same issue for me. I solved it temporarily downgrading the mailpoet plugin to version 4.41.3 using WP Rollback plugin. Now it works again, but obviously it is a temporary solution. I’m still waiting for a response from the support team.
I have the same issue. hopefully support will fix, or reply to this thread when fixed.
even with today’s update to version 4.42.1 the problem of very slow sending remains, reinstalled version 4.41.3 and it works perfectly

From the changelog in the plugin page I can see <<Fixed: error “EntityManager is Closed” during sending on MySQL 8;>>
So it should be ok now. Anyone tested it?
