I’ve got everything installed and the settings updated along with the pages created.

I’d like to have a link in my menu called “Affiliates”. If you’re logged in, it would go to the account area, if not, it would go to the login/registration page.

Currently I have my link pointing to “/affiliate-account” and it redirects to the login page, but there is no link to register from that page. Do I need to add that link myself through the page? I technically don’t actually have an affiliate login page, it seems to be creating one in the code.

My main question is – Am I supposed to be pointing to a different starting page to accomplish this?

    Hope this makes sense.

    Thanks.

    Hey @davidgarthe0723,

Thank you for reaching out! The way you set up these pages is mostly up to you. The plugin sets up the account and registration pages, however, this is not a fixed setup. You have full flexibility on how you want your pages to connect with one another to meet your needs.

For example, we ourselves have a /affiliates page, where we advertise the affiliate program. Within this page visitors have links to either register, which is a child page of the /affiliates page. We have this link at /affiliates/account. Similarly, we have the registration page as /affiliates/register.

You can emulate our setup if you’d like.

In this case, I’d recommend for the menu to have the “Affiliates” item redirect to /affiliates if the affiliate user is logged-out and to /affiliates/account if the affiliate user is logged-in.

    Thank you and best wishes,

    Mihai
