Simple Author Box stopped working

    I installed the free version of Simple Author Box some ½ year ago, I think, and it worked fine.
    Some days ago, I noticed that the box is not showing. Hadn’t thought of it before, so I don’t know exactly when and why it stopped working.

    But I haven’t made any settings changes, so the only reason can be update of either the plugin or WordPress (or both) as I see it.
    Really don’t know how to start locating the error.
    I have tried to deactivate and reactivate it again. Would rather not remove the plugin if it isn’t necessary, because then I would have to configure it all over.

    Hi,

    I’m not aware of anything in latest WordPress or Simple Author Box causing any issues. It must be some other plugin that maybe filters the content somehow and prevents Simple Author Box from inserting it’s code 🙁

    Try temporarily disabling other plugins and see if it comes back.

    My bad, it wasn’t a problem with Simple Author Box at all.
    For some reason, the Author description had disappeared from my profile. I have no idea how that can have happened, because I know it was there before. But it’s not an issue for this forum in any case… 😉

    Hi, OK, at least you figured out part of the issue 🙁

    I don’t have any ideas about what would delete author’s description though.
