Also check a popover template. It should be
<div class=”imgl-popover”>
<div class=”imgl-close”></div>
<div class=”imgl-arrow”></div>
<div class=”imgl-content”></div>
</div>
Same problem of ockographis… Can’t save nor create other new items. Is it really compatible with the latest version of WordPress?
The solution was that I had additional charachters in the popover template code. Once I removed it worked great! Under GENERAL TAB (Not Hotspots) at bottom is template code. Should just be:
<div class=”imgl-popover”>
<div class=”imgl-close”></div>
<div class=”imgl-arrow”></div>
<div class=”imgl-content”></div>
</div>
no & or ” or ‘ not listed above.
Thank you for your kind help, ockographics!
I tried to replace the content in the General tab > Popover settings > Popover HTML template, with
<div class=”imgl-popover”>
<div class=”imgl-close”></div>
<div class=”imgl-arrow”></div>
<div class=”imgl-content”></div>
</div>
but the problem is that it’s not possible to save anything any more. I cannot even create a new ImageLinks Item, unfortunately!…
Any other suggestions?

After you changed the code, did you hit update? I know it’s silly question but it was something I forgot to do initially. After you update that map, you should then be able to save or create new. You may have to updated for each map if you have more than one.
I do hit uthe “Update” button but nothing changes, I get the same settings as before. Even if I try to create a new item, the “Publish” button doesn’t work.
It seems that the plugin is not able any more to store new data into the database
LATEST UPDATE:
I tried to unistall the plugin and delete the existing items. Then I installed again the ImageLinks plugin and built from scratch one new item …and it worked!
But unfortunately, I cannot manage to create another one that works: if I try to add a new item and click “Publish”, when page reloads its status is still set to “Draft” and neither the background image nor the Hotspots appear to have been saved.
So, it seems to me that the Imagelinks plugin is working only for one single item, maybe because it’s the free version (?) Does only the paid version allow more than one item?
Glad you got it up and going. Plugin site does not specify the paid version being allowed more than 1, but may be a “Lite” version limit.
I only needed 1 so never added, but I just tried on my site and can’t have more than 1. Paid may be the option. Included email support if issues.
