Show image on posts listing but not inline

Is there a way of just having the image show on the post selection page, but not inline on the actual post?
So it’s good here: https://mypositiveliving.com/updates/

But can I get rid of it here: https://mypositiveliving.com/my-new-normal/

When I selected Set Featured Image it automatically added the image in both places.
