I doubt this is related to the theme as I did just a small update for the Style Variations so this can’t cause this issue. I think it’s plugin related.

Citation plugin’s author:
“The shortcodes are gone? Then it is a theme (or other) issue. Bozdoz has only fixed “ampersands in geojson/gpx/kml urls” and some issues for translation.”

Well, fortunately I have a backup file on my desktop, copy/paste does the work.

Hmm that’s strange, I can’t find any reason why this would be the theme issue but important is that you have the backup for it in case it happens.

Hi Ana,
once again it happened after the update to WP 6.1:
all my maps are gone and this issue cannot be resolved by copy/paste my backup shortcode files this time. No single map is displayed. There is big white space instead of the maps.
Also the Bricksy-Update did not change this issue.
It’s just to tell you of this issue, I don’t know if you can do anything in this case.
I also re-opened the thread with the author of the plugin.

Hi Ana,
together with the plugins author we found out that the caching part of the plugin WP-Optimize causes this and some other issues.
This is fixed now. Just to let you know.
