    Can someone help me with a product shortcode please? I want a page which is my top level category to then show the subcategories but not products within those categories. Then each subcategory can be clicked on to show the products within that category. This is set up correctly in woocommerce categories but I have pages for each category too. Hope this makes sense to someone.

    Just wanted to let you know, I have sussed it out myself now. Used this:
    [product_categories number=”0″ parent=”0″].
    For anyone else who is looking for the answer, number= is number of subcategories you want to display. So if you have 5 subcategories and want to display them all number=”5″.
    For the parent number go to your parent category in Woocommerce categories and click edit. In the URL at the top of the page, look for the ID= and use the number next to it. For example ID=19 change your shortcode to parent=”19″. Voila! Worked for me anyway.
    Hope this helps someone else, its taken me about 5 hours.
