• Hello, the shortcode is no longer working as intended when it is applied in Elementor. On inspection, the <a> tag generated by the shortcode is missing the URL for the direct video URL for some reason; it will output <a href="#" ...> instead. I tried adding the shortcode via a text editor and HTML block and both have the same issue.

For now, I have replaced the shortcode with an <a> tag with the CSS class vp-s which works.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

Thank you for using our plugin!

Could you please copy and paste the exact shortcode here as you have it, including the video URL? This will allow me to reproduce the issue on my end and identify whether the problem is within the plugin’s shortcode output or related to how Elementor processes it before rendering.

Please note: if the investigation confirms this is a bug in the plugin, we will release an urgent update to fix it as quickly as possible.

    Best regards,
    Alobaidi.

    The shortcode I used is [video_popup url="https://segalgcse.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/24151.02-PR-SL-Recruitment_Social_Program–Office_Tour_ConD_SD_V5_FINAL.mp4" text="Office tour" auto="1"]
