I am using the short code for “add to cart.” For variable products it shows “select option” when clicked it redirects to product page. Is there a way to make a selection without going to product page?

To display product details for variable products while still being on the products page, you will need to utilize the services of an extension like WooCommerce Quick View, which lets you preview product details in a lightbox before adding it to the cart.

I’m looking for a way for customers to add variable products to their cart without going to the product page. Is there a demo for this so I can make sure it is what I need?

I get a “Site not found” message which makes sense if your site is hosted locally. You can make a duplicate copy of your site and host it online using the WP Staging plugin or ask your host if they have staging facilities.

I understand what you are trying to achieve now. There isn’t an inbuilt way to have option selections along with the add to cart shortcode. However, considering how you are trying to show your products, it may be worth checking out Product Table for WooCommerce. With this plugin, you can list products in a table as well as allow customers to select options on one page.
