In Country-Blocker settings the IP-v.6 Checkmark cannot be disabled (say: disable, save, reload the page does’nt show a disabled checkmark). IP-v.6 database doesn’t download, and of course, no blocking on IP-v.6 happens. This way the plugin is almost useless, as IP-v.4 is dying.

Using: Country-Blocker 2.41.0. Either it is a reduced functionality for Free users, or a bug.

Workaround: screw this setting in the database (in php-admin), if you know how to do and where to touch at. Then reload the database in wp-admin. Not tested.

  • We do not have an IPv6 checkmark. Can you attach a screenshot for the issue?

It’s not IPv6, but the IPv4-Checkmark in the settings page, sorry.

Workaround doesn’t work. I get only IP2LOCATION-LITE-DB1.BIN (the IPv4 file), no matter how the checkmark is set.

Please remove any files found in wp-content/uploads/ip2location.

Then, try to download again with “IPv4 Only” unchecked.

Cleaning the uploads/ip2location folder does not help. I get always the IP2LOCATION-LITE-DB1.BIN (the IPv4.bin), and setting to off and forcing the checkmark (in php-admin, say in WP-database) to zero does not help. I get always the IPv4-Database file.

It looks like the free plan has been restricted in functionality.

    Hi,

Please update to version 2.41.1 for the fixes.

Versions 2.41.1 looks good. Thanks a lot.
