Unfortunately, nothing has been changed.
I can confirm this (after hours of troubleshooting last night and today): It’s still not fixed. The settings turn OFF no matter the precautions taken. Thanks.
Also, let me add this: Ensuring that our Editors manually check the OneSignal box for each published article wouldn’t be a problem, but the major ISSUE is that there’s no option to ENABLE notifications for the MOBILE APP part/segment on the post editor screen.
Therefore, every single editor on the site needs to now have OneSignal admin access in order to check the appropriate boxes in the plugin, only to then refresh the Post Editor screen to make sure the boxes are checked. Manually doing it from the post editor screen ignores the mobile app segment entirely.
So, why not just add a manual option to “send to mobile app users” as well in the POST EDITOR screen, to make our lives easier while waiting? Thanks.
