• Boy what a joke. You can see the connected services as connected, yet the services aren’t connected. Further, ore, you cannot re set-up site kit as it somehow already seems to rely on you being connected. there is no log out and relog-in. there is no settings to reconfigure. no reset, reboot, or re login. You are in a crazy loop of stupidness. you can’t even seem to flush out what it stores in your WP database to start from scratch. This is bonkers!

Sorry to hear of your frustration @garzonetto. While I didn’t see a support topic open from whereby we could assist, I would be happy to help out in any way. See below response to your comments:

You can see the connected services as connected, yet the services aren’t connected.

If the services are appearing as connected in your setup, is there something not working with the connected services, or are you seeing any errors?

Further, ore, you cannot re set-up site kit as it somehow already seems to rely on you being connected.

Can you provide more details on this? You do need a Google account to be connected, and you must have a live internet connected given the plugin verifies site ownership with Search Console.

there is no log out and relog-in. there is no settings to reconfigure. no reset, reboot, or re login.

You can disconnect your Google account from Site Kit – which would be the closest thing to the term login/log out, reset the plugin via two methods (one if not already setup) – which allows you to reconfigure, or uninstall. I’m happy to help if you’re having trouble with any of these, and you can review the links above for each.

You are in a crazy loop of stupidness. you can’t even seem to flush out what it stores in your WP database to start from scratch.

There is very little information stored in your WordPress database, given the plugin uses various Google service APIs to retrieve your information that is displayed within the Site Kit dashboard. I’m happy to assist with any queries on this if you have any specific questions.

Note that we do take all reviews seriously, and one of the plugins aims is to make setup as easy as possible. Do share more details on what you’re facing when trying to setup, and I can hopefully assist.
