Select with zero value

“0” values seems not to be recognized and stored as “” (zero length string).

If the select is required, selecting av an item with value “0” causes validation error.

There are many use cases for selecting a 0 value, when wanting to store or display them as number or boolean. I suggest allowing “0”, rejecting “” when a value is required. I also suggest only allowing one “” option, preferably only the first option (usually labeled “–Select–“)

FYI: I have started using this nice plugin in a project, and store all submissions as a (pending) CPT entry with meta, then display them. The data then may persist, viewed and edited, even after the submission itself is deleted.
